Position Summary:

The Women’s Coordinator provides care coordination and support services to pregnant and parenting women with substance use disorders in residential treatment and after discharge. This position assists women and their families obtain and coordinate therapeutic and supportive services that address the substance use and mental health challenges, as well as the related social, recreational, health, educational, and occupational needs. The Women’s Coordinator serves as a role model of recovery and facilitates connections to resources, information, and community services that promote healing and resilience. The position will typically work with 20 women in treatment and recovery.

Position Summary:

The Family Peer Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in our substance use disorder treatment program, offering guidance, education, and empathy to families navigating the challenges of addiction. This position involves providing support to families as they cope with the impact of substance use on their loved ones and themselves. The Family Peer Support Specialist serves as a role model of recovery and facilitates connections to resources, information, and community services that promote healing and resilience.

Position Summary:

The Children’s Coordinator provides care coordination and support services to children 0-17 who have a parent in residential treatment and/or receiving recovery support services. This position helps children and their families obtain and coordinate therapeutic and supportive services that address the juvenile’s mental health challenges, as well as the related social, recreational, health, educational, and family needs. The Children’s Coordinator serves as a role model of recovery and facilitates connections to resources, information, and community services that promote healing and resilience. The position will typically work with 20 children and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must possess an active APRN license in Kentucky.
• Masters Degree or higher in Nursing
• Experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences (i.e. social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling or occupational therapy).
• License in Social Work, Family Therapy, Psychiatric Nursing, Counseling or Occupational Therapy.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least three (3) years’ relevant experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses; or 2 years relevant experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and one year supervisory experience.
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience or training in addictions OR a LADAC (strongly preferred).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Experience working in a residential or inpatient setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid KY Driver’s license and clean driving record to be insurable by agency liability insurance company.
• Current CPR/First aide certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of beginning employment.
• Peer Specialist Certification strongly preferred or ability/willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.

• Experience in caregiver training and working in collaboration with other providers.
• Experience working with adults.

of sufficient progression toward recovery. Awareness of the importance of recovery in living with a mental illness or addictions problem. Past experience working directly with people in a service-oriented field is beneficial but not required.

+Having Charge Nurse or other related leadership experience, strongly preferred.
