Job Summary:

The RN (Floor Nurse) functions within the framework of the objectives, mission, and values of RiverValley Behavioral Health. They monitor, supervise, and provide a safe and therapeutic environment for children and adolescents admitted to the inpatient program. They provide ongoing physical and/or mental assessments and statuses, direct care, and collaborates with treatment team to ensure a safe and therapeutic milieu. The RN ensures quality child and adolescent care. When assigned as a Shift supervisor, the RN provides supervision for overall functioning of the hospital during assigned shift. The RN also provides on-call for the nursing services department.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Active KY RN License 
• Associate's Degree required; Bachelors in Nursing is preferred 
• Minimum of one (1) year in a psychiatric setting preferred
