Inpatient Therapist - Full-time

Job Summary:

  • Provides high quality patient care.
  • Conducts individual, group and family therapy for the child or adolescent client. Displays good theoretical skills and treatment techniques for each type of therapy.
  • Completes psychosocial evaluations and other assessments as deemed appropriate for each client in a timely manner.
  • Displays good interviewing, diagnostic and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to identify client behaviors requiring intervention and monitor those behaviors, actions and activities. Completes documentation in client charts in timely manner.
  • Functions as an integral part of the treatment team
  • Functions as a client advocate at all times
  • Participates in performance improvement hospital activities.
  • Participates in inpatient therapist on-call rotation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred, however candidates with less experience who can meet the state requirements to provide clinical services within their field will be considered.
  • Must possess one of the following Kentucky licenses: CSW, LCSW, LPCA, LPCC.
